Majestic view of Pula, Croatia

Pula, Croatia is full of historical sites and fascinating things to do in the city center. But sometimes, the hustle and bustle of city nightlife and daytime walking tours isn’t what you’re in the mood for. When you’re craving a relaxing day soaking up the sun, visit one of Pula’s best beaches, lie in a deck chair, and soak in the sun.

Pula’s beaches range from coarse sand to pebbles and rocky cliffs, so bring shoes and comfortable seating options. And your charter yacht crew can supply you with snorkel gear, and a sea kayak and/or standup paddleboard to enjoy the water from the beach for maximum enjoyment of Croatia’s crystal-clear waters.

Cyclone Beach

Cyclone Beach requires land-goers to walk through the woods to reach the shoreline, and it doesn’t offer the amenities that some of Pula’s other beaches do. This means you’ll have a distinct advantage if you approach it from the sea, from your charter yacht anchored right off the beach, bringing your amenities along with you. Find a secluded spot to sit on the pebbled slope or jump into the water from the rocks; the choice is yours.

Hawaii Beach

This is an excellent swimming location. Lounge in the sun during the morning, and then take advantage of the afternoon shade when you’ve had enough of the heat.

Valsaline Beach

Valsaline Beach’s gently sloping pebble shore and calm waters is also a good option. Though it’s located on the more populated Verudela Peninsula, Valsaline Beach tends to be less busy than some of the other nearby beaches.

Croatia Beach

While the beaches listed above are excellent for quiet relaxation, Croatia Beach tops them all when it comes to activities and attractions. Get a drink at the Zeppelin Beach Bar or, If you’re feeling adventurous, you can go through the water-based obstacle course.

Lost Beach

Another beautiful, pebbly option, Lost Beach also has the benefit of being rather remote and unpopulated. Take advantage of a few quiet hours relaxing on the shore, and then wander inland a bit to explore some of the nearby walking trails, the Punta Christo Fort, the Punta Christo Lighthouse, and some very picturesque bridges that run from cliff to cliff.

These beaches should keep you relaxed and happy during your stop in Pula before cruising on your charter yacht to your next destination. We also recommend taking the time to sip one last cocktail in the sun before leaving Pula on your luxury private yacht cruise.
